Skin Tightening with J-Plasma
J-Plasma tightens and refreshes loose skin without the need for invasive surgery, extended downtime, or large surgical scars. This precision approach lets providers apply controlled energy to target specific areas for skin tightening.
What we treat
Loose skin, softened definition, and laxity in key areas
J-Plasma is often used to refine contours where skin laxity is noticeable—supporting a tighter, smoother look with careful, conservative technique.
Common areas
Neck • Jawline • Under-chin • Selected body areas (based on plan)
Goal
Tissue contraction + refined transitions
Finish
Natural-looking tightening (never “overdone”)
How it works
Controlled helium plasma + RF energy
How is it works?
For the procedure, the specialist creates a small entry point placing the device just under the skin. Once the device is in place, the specialist releases pro helium gas and radio-frequency (RF) to create a precise stream of energy (plasma).
This energy generates enough heat to contract the skin while, at the same time, excess helium gas cools the treatment area. This combination of energy contracts the tissues just under the skin, which tightens it.
Safety + standards

Frequently asked questions
Quick, clear answers
What is J-Plasma skin tightening?
J-Plasma (often referred to as Renuvion) uses helium plasma and radiofrequency energy delivered beneath the skin to support tissue contraction and a firmer-looking result.
What is the procedure like?
A small entry point is created and the device is positioned just under the skin. Helium gas and RF create a focused plasma stream. Heat supports contraction while helium helps cool the area.
What are possible side effects?
As with most medical procedures, risks exist. Your provider will review candidacy and safety guidance with you. Refer to FDA safety communications and consult a qualified clinician for individualized risk discussion.
How long do results last?
Longevity varies based on skin quality, lifestyle, and treatment plan. Many patients notice early tightening with continued refinement over time.
